Rick is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a Master Certified Coach (MCC) as designated by the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is a senior trainer for The Coaches Training Institute in San Francisco, a world-renown coach training and leadership development global organization.

Rick has a B.A. in Communications from Hope College in Michigan and an MFA from the University of Connecticut. He resides in Los Angeles, where he enjoys walking his dog Abby and swimming early morning laps in his backyard swimming pool.
